Two weeks after Gizmo
crossed the bridge, I found Cleo at the animal control facility down the
street from where I live. I named her after the number of the pen she was in,
“C10”. She is my “special” child, very sensitive to my moods and my health.
If I’m upset, she insists on being allowed to sit in my lap and make it all
better for me.
