I cared for my Gizmo from
6 weeks of age until her death at 18 years old from kidney failure. Gizmo was
my snuggler. She loved to be held and she gave neck hugs. After her diagnosis
with Renal Failure, I gave Gizmo fluids subcutaneously 2 to 3 times per week
and oral medications 2 times per day for a year and a half. She never
complained during the whole time that she was ill and she continued to rule
the house with an iron paw. |
